Progress toward 'mad cow' vaccine
Scientists are moving closer to creating a vaccine to prevent the dreaded mad cow disease and its human equivalent, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease or CJD, which people can contract from eating beef infected with mad cow disease, researchers report, although perfection of the medication still is some years away.
